1...Figure what the cubic square feet of your container.
2...Divide it into 200...........example your bin is 20 cubic square feet so 200 divided by 20 is 10............so you really only need one 10th of the strip but to stay on the side of caution cut the strip into 8 equal pieces.
3...Place items in bin but leave about 3 inch at the top.............place double sided tape on the lid of the bin then place the Nuvan ProStrips piece on the tape and close the bin and keep it closed for 3 weeks and store them where no children or pets can get at them. The strips will kill all bugs in 3 days but if there is eggs you have to wait until they hatch approx 3 weeks................the strips will keep on working up to 4 months.
Hot Shot No Pest Strip will cover 1200 square feet so you will have lots of strips and if you have a lot of bins and or large garbage bags and closets the Hot Shot No Pest Strip would be a more economical solution. (1200 divide by 20 = 600 wow). Just say each closet is 200 square feet and 1200 divided by 200 = 6 times you divided the strip but I always add a little more so I would cut it into 4 or 5 pieces because it's better safe than sorry. (do the math to figure out what you need but remember the closet has to stay closed for a min of 3 weeks.)
REMEMBER PLEASE WEAR GLOVES AND A MASK AND NEVER USE THE SCISSORS FOR ANYTHING ELSE AGAIN!!!!
